About You
Not only will you have great development skills but you are someone who is a strategic thinker and can make technical decisions. Amongst other things, you will collaborate with designers to steadily improve our current web sites, while helping to develop outstanding new web sites and web applications. Your work will be critical to meeting our requirements and milestones and ensuring that our customers successfully put the internet to work for them.
Key Requirements
- A strong understanding of HTML and coding for cross platform/browser compatibility
- Knowledge of PHP 4/5
- Understanding of LAMP systems
- Basic understanding of object-oriented design and programming experience
- Knowledge of basic Linux and Microsoft systems administration skills
- Entrepreneurial excitement, a positive attitude and hunger to get things done
Bonus Skills
- Experience with front-end development skills (AJAX) / Javascript / DHTML, CSS, XML
- Experience working with content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal)
- Familiarity working with DNS and Domain Names
- Experience with e-commerce systems a plus
